# Corrections and the revision cycle

Corrections go to sheet@echoblock.org. A useful one carries three things: which
sheet, the figure exactly as the page prints it, and an address where the correct value can be
read. A figure we cannot source a second time comes off the sheet instead of being argued for.

Nothing here is rebuilt to a timetable. A sheet is pulled and read again when the venue on it
moves something this site prints: a rate card, a leverage ladder, a custody or withdrawal page,
a fresh audit report, or an incident the security column has to answer for. A reader's
correction does the same. Between those events a sheet stands, because re-dating a figure
nobody has touched only makes it look newer than it is. A rebuild moves three dates at once — the one
under the heading, the one in the page's machine-readable record and the one in the sitemap —
and moves them only when something on the sheet has changed. A date here claims the figures
under it were looked at that day, and is worth nothing if it drifts on its own.
